Healing In Truth

What we speak and what we do not – the gravity of space we hold for ourselves and others when we speak our truth and the void that forms when we do not, or not speak out at all!

Without honouring our truth, this vacuum becomes filled with misunderstanding, the various emotions repeated and recycled, creating a clouded perception of truth, misconceptions and patterns deepen entrenched through generations unbeknown to our conscious mind. A downward vortex, a black hole of energy fuelled with negativity, fear, guilt and shame, burdening our mind, body and heart, restricting us from joy and happiness.

Our truth may be feared, the fear of the consequences, the fear of change and the unknown, the fear of conflict and rejection,  all being primitive aspects of our mind which ultimately seeks safety, protection and acceptance. Yet these fears become detrimental to our truth in honouring our soul, our spirit, our core and beliefs, a feeling of unease in our gut often held tight within, our diaphragm as the pressure cooker lid firmly sealed and little by little we slowly loose our spark, our light as it dims to a flicker, no oxygen to the fire as it cinders down.

Yet when we create a defined space and air to a fire for it to breathe by our open expression of truth, its nourishing warmth is free to expand within the healthy boundaries of our bellies, we find a soothing reassurance of self-acceptance, supported with love and compassion in our hearts for ourselves. We become peaceful warriors of our truth, speaking with integrity, seeking the higher perspective, acknowledging our fears yet our words do not reflect or vibrate to these low frequencies.

We surrender our illusion of control of how we feel it will unfold, the fear of the unknown, with the wisdom of recognising what we can control, be that our perception and actions and in our hearts we set the intention to be the higher frequencies of love, joy and peace, an inner peace that oscillates and creates a ripple affect into the collective ocean of energy and space that we are all individually part of and is a part of us.

Our words of love, kindness and compassion to ourselves creates healthy respectful boundaries, honouring our place, desires and needs in this world, a sovereignty of who you are, your light and power to inspire rather than suppress.

As the healthier boundaries form, undoubtedly there is discomfort when we speak our truth as relationships begin to shift and rebalance as we seek for each other’s highest good. However the truth may be too painful for others to hear, as the brighter we become, the more light is naturally shined upon them, urging them to look within and self-reflect, yet through their own fears they may prefer the imbalance and lack of boundaries and potentially escalate their patterns of behaviour.

With a higher perspective and an open heart, we see with compassion to self and others and understand that any behaviour that is not of love and kindness is actually fuelled by fear and not a reflection of one’s worthiness.

If these relationships are of to be of joy and purpose, your truth and integrity becomes the light inspiring others to seek within and to make the honourable choices of the higher vibrational energies of love, joy and peace.

Others that no longer serve purpose will shift as your energy expands, claiming your space and sovereignty, going through our own grieving process of letting go, of what there was or the voids of what there wasn’t, what we had hoped for from these relationships as we begin to understand that the love and acceptance we had wished for was not for them to fill, it was a matter of remembering and reconnecting to the love that is already always been within us, we even let go part of ourselves, our old beliefs and patterns that have held us in the shadows of fear,

As these shifts occur, the perceived voids become space of opportunities, to fill and flow with love, joy and peace in abundance, through the process of honouring our truth and our soul desires we ignite our inner fire to nourish and grow into our true selves unapologetically.

We become free from the weeds and the forest undergrowth that has blocked our light, ascending past our understory to the canopy of light, it is part of us, yet not all, as we grow taller and brighter as our self as whole.

Self-Awareness and Reflection-

Words – speak them wisely, truthfully and timely to both yourself and others, understanding that each word and tone creates a frequency has an oscillation affect. Recognise that space is also created with silence and composure, free from the urge to fill the voids with white noise and distraction and the need of approval of your truth.

If words cannot be spoken of kindness and compassion, do they need to be spoken, are you able to speak another time free from a triggered state of mind? The saying “Silence is true wisdom's best reply” holds much credence.

How this may affect us physically:

Our voice, our throat chakra creates our healthy boundaries having a direct relationship to our solar plexus, our digestive system, of what we receive and release and when imbalanced it may physically manifest as some yet not limited to the following symptoms, as our throat chakra is reflective of all of our physical self:

  • Neck and shoulder pain

  • Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) pain,

  • Teeth grinding

  • Thyroid and metabolic functions

  • Hormone imbalance

  • Gut/brain dysfunction such as IBS, IBD, autoimmune issues

  • Fatigue

  • Brain fog

  • Headaches and migraines

  • A tendency to flit from one thing to another without completing tasks

How to support your truth and throat chakra

Any practice that stimulates the cranial vagus nerve which has many neural attachments to the throat, larynx and neck area will support the balance of the throat chakra.

  • Conscious and Diaphragmatic Breathing

  • Singing and Mantra Meditation

  • Journaling of ones thoughts

  • Forgiveness practices such as writing the words you really wish to say, especially anger and frustration, then burn the paper with the intention to be free of such emotions.

  • Working with the full moon is a great time to forgive and release all unserving thoughts, patterns, beliefs and emotions.

  • Find a therapist that can support you in your journey, that will create a space to help you self-reflect and understand your patterns and beliefs, these can be both mind and body therapies.

As a Remedial Bodywork Therapist, for me to be able to help my clients to find health and wellbeing mind and body, I firstly need to understand WHY they are in pain, what the primary cause is and follow the trail and pattern of restrictions within their body.
