Mental Wellness - How Our Minds & Bodies Are Seeking Connection

PAIN AND DIS-EASE OF OUR BODY AND MIND IS THE LONELINESS OF OUR SOUL-SPIRIT SEEKING RE-CONNECTION!

What is Mental Health?

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.

From my perspective as a therapist who sees the person as a whole, Mind-Body-Heart & Soul, we need to seek and work through the layers that are the root of the pain and dis-ease both Mind and Body.

There are many factors that contribute to negative impacts to our health of mind and body, such as our experiences in life, past and present; our environmental factors, emotionally and physically, our interactions with others, our relationships; environmentally this includes the pollution and toxins in the air, soil and water, in our food and what we put on our skin; then we have the ever increasing cost of living - thus being our "nurture".

Then we have our "nature", our DNA, our epigenetics, our mitochondria that influences our personality (passed down through our Mother) what we are born with, held deep within the unconscious body, which at some point is triggered by our experiences and stresses, our "nurture".

However, from my experience, I see all pain and dis-ease mind and body, is a reflection on the level of separation to self, our Soul and Spirit, Mind and Body.

Pain follows the same neural pathways as loneliness... thus pain and dis-ease are our bodies trying to communicate and reconnect with us, to realign to ourselves, our heart and mind in coherence.

Our bodies are trying to show-call to us how to heal, we simply need to remember this level of communication and our innate wisdom, we need to remember the language of our body!

To become consciously aware, how we have become misaligned to our truth, our passion, our joy and purpose, of what we are truly here for.

When the mind, heart (the home of our Soul) and body are working as one, we are in alignment, in coherence, seen through the Heart Rate Variability (HRV). This coherence, this truth, is when the body is able to heal and restore itself back to its natural equilibrium, and that is health.

We can do many things to heal ourselves once we behold that awareness of self, creating space for self-care/maintenance, to breathe, to LISTEN and OBSERVE ourselves.

And then activate our true power... CHOICE... and our super power, AWARENESS, that enables CONSCIOUS CHOICES.

To choose how you wish to feel and be, to VISUALISE through meditation. creating neural plasticity of positive pathways that become overtime, stronger than the fear based thoughts and belief systems that separate us from love-joy and peace.

This is EMPOWERMENT... that goes beyond the power of hope, the "placebo" effect, which is used as the control-benchmark in all drugs trials.

Taking the ethos of LOVE2Heal Listen Observe Visualise Empower- to all aspects of life, mind and body, our relationships, our work that is to be meaningful, that serves a purpose and fulfilment, our environment physically, emotionally and mentally.

And lastly, to know

💙ITS OKAY NOT TO BE OK💜

We are all going through a transitioning, yet the more conscious and empowered we are through AWARENESS, makes this journey with a little more ease and grace.

As a Remedial Bodywork Therapist, for me to be able to help my clients to find health and wellbeing mind and body, I firstly need to understand WHY they are in pain, what the primary cause is and follow the trail and pattern of restrictions within their body.
